Gina Gylver has been the leader at Nature and Youth – Young Friends of the Earth. Since she was 12 years old, Gina has been fighting to make her city Oslo a greener city in several ways: she demonstrated, met politicians, held speeches at conferences, wrote in the papers and participated in a documentary-series on Norwegian television. Currently, Gina is focusing on youth involvement in political processes and Norwegian climate-politics. Gina’s passion for the climate isn’t just a personal matter. It is important for her not only to fight for her own future, but for global climate justice. She points out that climate change doesn’t care neither about borders nor about justice, and that our actions have serious consequences all over the world.
