About the Application

• The application to the Young Leaders Programme is free of charge. However, if you are chosen to be part of the YLP, Urban Future and partners do not cover any travel or accommodation expenses. The ticket price for participants of YLP is reduced to 349€.
• Applications must be submitted in the required format before the closing date (January 27th).
• Applications are to be submitted in English.
• Applications have to be completely filled out to be considered for the further selection process.
• Should you not be chosen to participate in the Young Leaders Programme, Urban Future and partners do not provide a statement or report as to why you have not been chosen.

Participation in the Young Leaders Programme

• Should you be chosen for one of the limited seats of the YLP, your ticket is not transferrable. If you’re not able to participate, Urban Future and partners can offer your spot to another applicant. You will be notified about the deadline for the ticket purchase via e-mail.
• The conference will be comprehensively documented. By entering the conference area, participants agree to the free of charge publication and use of photographic, film and audio recordings which are produced at the conference and which could also feature the respective participant. Should a participant give interviews to conference staff, he/she provides clearance for the unrestricted use of the material generated.
• Urban Future and partners do not guarantee that you will get a spot in sessions with limited seats or be on stage at the conference.
• The participant acknowledges that she/he cannot make claims for compensation against the event organizer should changes to the programme result from speaker cancellation(s).

Data Usage and Storage

• Only Urban Future and partners of the programme (EUROCITIES) have access to your submission. We will not share any of your personal data with third parties.
• Urban Future & partners of the programme are allowed to share (parts of) your application video, answers or completion of the wordrap in your application via Social Media, homepage, and newsletter in order to promote or highlight the YLP.
• Your application is stored on the Urban Future server.
• We will use the contact details provided to contact you about the programme. If you don’t respond to any communication about your participation in the programme within 7 days, we may at our sole discretion treat you as having withdrawn from the programme and offer your seat to another aspiring participant.

Registration to UF23 (hosting the YLP)

• After you have been chosen as a participant of the Young Leaders Programme, you will receive your discount code via email. Please note that you have to register for your ticket to attend the conference. Attending the conference won’t be possible until the full registration fee has been received by UFGC GmbH.
• Only persons in possession of a valid conference ticket shall be admitted to the conference area. The organizer reserves the right to reject individual registrations.
